Beverly Oviedo, CMP, is the founder and president of Sustainable Solutions by Design. With over 20 years of business management experience and advanced studies in Sustainability, she worked with an international team in London to create workshops for NGOs of six developing countries on how to integrate sustainable development practices into their business systems. As a communication specialist, she recently co-authored a model for Embedding Corporate Social Responsibility into the organization culture and a Sustainability Toolkit for Planning and Managing Green Meetings. Her recent experience includes the development of webinars, educational sessions, and panel participation on this topic. She is a member of ASTM Committee for Sustainability, United States Green Building Council, Sustainable Development Committee for Monterey Chamber of Commerce, Green Meeting Industry Council, Meeting Professionals International--United Kingdom Chapter, Society of Government Meeting Professionals, and International Society for Performance Improvement.
